What to Expect
Chiropractic Initial Consultation
After you have filled out our New Patient form, your chiropractor will conduct a thorough history and a neurological, orthopaedic and chiropractic examination. This appointment is typically 60 minutes and will allow the chiropractor to review any previous x-rays/scans, diagnose your pain and determine the best course of action for you. The Chiropractor may refer you for imaging if required prior to starting treatment.
Chiropractic Report of Findings/2nd Appointment
This appointment is 40 minutes and allow extra time to reassess your initial response to treatment. If further imaging was required, it will be reviewed during this consultation.
Other Appointments
Chiropractic Standard Appointment
Standard appointments are 20 minutes. These visits will typically include various hands-on techniques, education and discussion of rehabilitative exercises.
Massage Initial Consultation
If you have not had a massage with our therapist before, please arrive for your appointment 10 mins early to fill out some forms and to chat about what your needs are with the practitioner.
Massage Standard Consultation
Your practitioner may advise a follow up appointment. If this is the case, please let your therapist know if there have been any changes to your health since your last visit.
Acupuncture Initial Consultation
If you have not had acupuncture with our therapist before, please arrive for your appointment 10 mins early to fill out some forms and to chat about what your needs are with the practitioner. Initial acupuncture appointments are 60 minutes,
Acupuncture Standard Consultation
Your practitioner may advise a follow up appointment. If this is the case, please let your therapist know if there have been any changes to your health since your last visit. Standard acupuncture appointments are 60 minutes.
Acupunture and Cupping Consultation
If you would like cupping with your acupunture appointment 80 minutes is required.
